OUR COURSES

Methodology for Huntington Academy Course Creation:

To develop the content for the Huntington Academy e-learning platform, a structured and collaborative approach was followed. Two interview scripts were designed – one for family members and another for professionals. A total of 32 semi-structured interviews with contributors were conducted both online and in person. Each interview was transcribed, then reviewed, summarized, and sent back to the contributor for validation. Once validated, the content was translated and used to develop the educational materials for each course.

Thus, the content of the Huntington Academy courses is based exclusively on interviews with 32 contributors from distinct countries. As a result, it may not cover every aspect of the topics in a fully comprehensive way. The Huntington Academy team acknowledges this as a possible – yet inevitable – limitation of the methodology used in developing the course materials. To address this, efforts were made to complement the interview content with additional information where relevant. Moreover, each of the nine courses includes a carefully curated list of further readings and resources to support and expand on the learning experience.
